Maintenance Spankings are used to reiterate the dynamics and roles in a relationship while ensuring the submissive that the Dominant is engaged.

Maintenance spankings are usually set up a day of the week where they are not distracted by their vanilla life.
During this time, the partners in the dynamic can (1) talk about their week and see if there’s need for corrections or (2) have a regular night of spanking with no need for conversation.
For those who opt for the former, the submissive will let their Dominant know what areas they feel they’ve been missing the mark, and the Dominant may let the submissive know their own observations as well.
Based on this one-on-one “review” time, you can tell how the spanking will play out.
