Here is a quick step-by-step guide to making a kinky homemade BDSM video.
Step 1: Pick your roleplay and outfits
What are you and anyone else involved going to wear on-screen?
When you’re playing out a scene with your partner, you both are aware of the sensations you are both sharing with each other. However, when it comes to filming a kink video you want to consider the visuals that your audience is going to watch.
By picking out your outfits, you make it obvious what type of roleplay is being enacted on-screen. A good BDSM video makes it impossible for the roleplay to be misunderstood. The best way to do that is to take lots of consideration in the outfits and costumes that are worn.
Step 2: Remove anything that isn’t part of the story
This means that you get rid of the mess in the scene. Everything that appears on-screen should be there intentionally. No messy rooms, no clutter, no trash—unless that’s part of the whole dynamic and story you’re trying to tell.

To get the sound to work, make sure your equipment is picking up what you want heard, make sure you can hear the dynamics in play, be considerate of background noises.
Step 5: Record your scenes
Even if you weren’t filming your scenes, applying the steps above would make your scenes much more immersive. And if you already do apply the steps above, then make a habit of consensually filming all your scenes.
Watching your scenes together with a partner, or even at your own whimsical leisure, can be a cathartic experience—both emotionally and physically.
