Mistresses and Masters in BDSM

In this post, Anastasia goes on a bit of a philosophical rant about Mistresses and Masters.

Mistresses and Masters

BDSM is great because people can experience it how they want to.

You can imagine somewhere in the history of BDSM, a submissive told his Mistress after a night out in a club that they wanted dominance and submission to continue outside the club, everywhere, and all the time.

Everything about people, especially regarding relationships, is a matter of degree and perspective.

For example, people who go sailing with their friends on the weekend will have a different experience of the sea than those who sail around the world alone.

This evidence applies to both those who do BDSM for fun and those who do it as a way of life, backed by a sense of commitment to themselves and others that continues to develop everywhere and all the time in the relationship.

A Master in an M/s relationship (or a Master-slave relationship) has this sense of commitment, responsibility, and honesty.

Having a sense of commitment and responsibility is part of who you are in the world, toward yourself and others. If you like these values, you will become them and you will see them reflect in your life and yourself.

No one has ever learned to drive by watching Automoto on TV, just like you can’t learn how to get laid by watching porn. To live, you must invest in reality, learn, and try things out. In a word, you have to commit.

You will also want your partner and others around you to benefit from them.

Being able to permanently control a slave and getting close enough to them that you know they will always serve and obey you is a way to learn more about yourself and grow as a person.

It doesn’t matter if this growth is spontaneous or planned. You get to know yourself and feel yourself in motion, making yourself and the relationship.

The slave works for the Master, and the Master works for the slave.

As a Master or Mistress, it seems important to start or watch a personal and intimate process of self-discovery before getting to know the other.

No matter how strict or stubborn you are, or how happy or imaginative you are, you must watch yourself to learn more about yourself.

You have to let go of the judgment that labels everything and makes everything static and immobile around the “me-I.”

The Tao says that you shouldn’t be afraid to move slowly, but you should be afraid to stop.

To be a good Master or Mistress, you need to be worthy and capable of managing a slave.

How can you make the slave better if you don’t do anything to make yourself better?
