There are many foods considered aphrodisiacs for the properties we have just seen, even if for many of these no relevant results have been recorded from a sexual point of view.

While there are undeniably advantages to consuming chocolate its’ important to note that research has not definitively established its ability to increase libido. Nonetheless all foods categorized as aphrodisiacs do offer essential nutrients required for overall bodily health. Therefore incorporating them into a well balanced diet can only contribute positively to ones overall well being regardless of their alleged sexual effects.
