In this post, we’ll briefly go over a few necessary BDSM topics and then talk about some easy ways to start playing with your partner today.
Sexual Power Exchange is when one person has consent over another person to use them in sexual forms of play for an agreed upon time frame.
Before actually playing, you and your partner will want to talk about what you both find arousing, what you don’t want to do, and what you are curious in experimenting in. This is where you both recognize consent and figure our limits and boundaries.
You and your partner will get to use this time to experiment to figure out who prefers to be dominant, submissive, or if they like switching between the two. This also makes it easier to figure out how you want your play to occur.
Make sure you both agree to safe words to slow things down in case anyone is not comfortable or to stop.
Bondage
Bondage involves someone getting restrained or tied up. Although you might want to jump straight to handcuffs, those can be uncomfortable and sometimes cause bruising. A more comfortable alternative could be velcro cuffs, such as these.
Since you’re probably just starting out, use an article of clothing you wouldn’t mind getting ripped up a little. Tying your partner up with an old tie, or keeping their arms stuck in the sleeves of their long-sleeve shirt can work too. Keep safety shears nearby.
To add a bit more spice, the Dominant partner can demand that the submissive partner doesn’t move. This leaves the submissive being teased and intensely desiring to be touched.

Sensory Deprivation
An easy way to include sensory deprivation would be to use a blindfold or cloth to cover the eyes.
When it comes to hearing, you could use ear plugs or headphones where the Dominant controls what the submissive listens to.
Cuffs or mittens can be used to take away the submissive’s ability to touch. And a mask to mildly interfere with breathing.
Roleplay
There are tons of different types of roleplay you can experiment with. For some easy one’s, check out men’s greatest sexual fantasies and women’s greatest sexual fantasies.
