In this post, we go over some ideas about what is a DDLG relationship in BDSM.

DDLG Relationship in BDSM
DDLG stands for “Daddy Dom, Little Girl.” It is a dynamic BDSM in which one person plays the role of the “Daddy,” or caretaker, and the other person plays the role of the “little girl,” who acts like a child.
Daddy and little can have a sexual relationship or not. Whether spiritual or not, it’s still a kink that involves a power exchange.
Even thought the Daddy is the Dom and the little is the submissive, the dynamic can take a nuance where the power dynamic takes the reverse.
For example, a little can be a brat, meaning that they may take the upper hand in the dynamic temporarily if not perpetually.
Because of nuance like this, it can be difficult making a definitive DDLG guide because there is no one right way to do things. Every relationship has room to be different
DDLG TERMS
If you’ve just started joining forums and communities, you’ve probably encountered unfamiliar acronyms like CGL, ABDL, or MDLB . And terms like small age, middle age or age regression.
WHAT IS A DADDY DOM?
In DDLG, the Daddy plays the role of a caring parent. Of course, this parental figure is not necessarily a man, there are also moms, but we will return to this later.
Daddies are more commonly referred to as caregivers.
When we think of a Dominant in a BDSM relationship, we usually think of a strict enforcer. Daddies can also be Dominants, but more often than not they take a softer approach.
They are attentive, loving and gentle. They are the protective and authoritative half of the DDLG dynamic . But whether they are strict or lenient with their little ones, they always want the best for them.
Despite the word “Dom” in the name, some Daddies can be real ragpickers. Some don’t even identify as Dominant. And that’s completely normal. Their role is to nurture, to be a constant in their little’s lives and to always guide them when they need it.
As Daddies take on a caregiving role, they often set rules for their littles to follow. These rules are rewarded when they are respected and punished when broken. This is common practice but not mandatory.
Daddies can have a more relaxed dynamic with their littles. As with any other relationship, it’s important for Daddy and their little one to communicate about what they want their relationship to be.
