Mummification in BDSM
Can games from the BDSM universe be mixed with ancient Egyptian ways of burying the dead? Yes, by using the process of mummification.
This practice of this can be two main goals. The first is to stop the submissive person from having fun. The second is to stop the person from moving and make them feel like time has stopped.
As with any other practice, BDSM mummification must be done with the consent of the person being mummified. She has to consent and say yes. And she also has to know that she is able to call for the scene to end whenever she wants. After all, this can be a scary thing to do.
To avoid this feeling of anxiety as much as possible, the length of the practice needs to be set ahead of time. If you want to do this, you must have played this game before. You won’t know how long you can hold out like a mummy until you try. It makes sense, or at least it is very likely, that a beginner would have a panic attack quickly, if not immediately.
When new to mummification, it’s best to let the submissive’s mouth be open so he can speak and be heard without obstruction.
Ways to practice BDSM mummification
This mummification scene can be played out with different materials:
- You can use plastic wrap. This material is used often for mummification and it’s affordable. However, it can be see-through, which some people might not like.
- You can also use fabric or latex bondage. This looks much better aesthetically.
- You can also use “vacuum beds”.Vacuum beds are like latex bags that keep the person in them from moving while still letting them breathe via a tube that lets the person being mummified breathe in air from the outside.
How to make a BDSM mummy?
You start by wrapping your arms, hands, torso, and legs separately.
The arms of a BDSM mummy can be put in one of two positions: parallel to the body with the arms stretched out OR crossed across the chest. It doesn’t make much sense to put the arms in any other positions without a greater risk of injury.
After the arms are wrapped in place, you can start wrapping the submissive from their shoulders and torso, down to their feet.
When doing full-body bandaging, it’s best to put some kind of padding between the submissive’s knees and ankles to make them feel better.
Keeping the sub upright is the easiest way to do all these things. Whoever does it this way may need a third person to help him put the submissive in a horizontal position after he has been mummified.
Having a third person can also make this scene safer.
Finally, the person being mummified will have their ears and eyes covered. Of course, the mouth or nose of the person being mummified must be left open so they can still breathe.
Tips for safety & erotic mummification
- Let the person being mummified take a deep breath before wrapping their chest and torso region. That way they have enough space to breathe more comfortably when they are completely wrapped
- Leave genitals and nipples exposed for any kinky torture or humiliation
- Tie the mummy to a board to promote feelings of vulnerability; this can also be made into a worship kink
- Newbies should start with being wrapped for 15 minutes; knowing there’s a time limit can put them at ease
- Have scissors handy (safer for the wrapped person if the scissors are dull)
- There should always be the possibility of clear communication
- The wrapped person can sweat a lot. Keep water nearby to prevent dehydration and lengthen play time
- Strongly recommended that you DO NOT do this in hot environments
- In the case of a panic attack, have the wrapped person open their eyes so they can see what is happening around them
Lastly, don’t leave a mummified person alone.
